There's nothing quite like a weekend mission to go turkey hunting - especially with the girls! We headed west in search of Merriam turkeys. After scouting Friday evening, we woke up early to beat first light. Some patience, a quiet stalk, and a bit of luck landed both girls beautiful birds. Add on an evening to explore the hill country and voilà! The perfect weekend.
