Coordinating twelve girls to travel across the country wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve done. But all the planning was definitely worth it! The first thing I wanted to do was enjoy a beautiful beach along the shoreline - the girls didn’t know they were in for a mile hike down to the lake though. Coolers, flip flops and swim floaties eventually their way down to the water. In return for the hike, we were treated to a secluded beach all to ourselves.

We spent the next few days hiking around the mountains, boating around the crystal blue waters, and even cliff jumping along shore. A wildfire prevented us from seeing even a few hundred feet in front, but we were able to cruise Emerald Bay and still enjoy the views. I even managed to dislocate my shoulder jumping from those rocks - we never had a dull moment! And it was still perfect.. I wouldn’t trade that trip for the world.
